Kyo
I was walking back to the house by myself, the girls had gone out with this Charlie boy for ice cream and the other boys had gone to look around the town, I didn't feel like going with them. To tell the truth I felt sick, as I walked home I stared at the pavement all the time until I saw a pair of brown leather shoes appear next to mine, I looked up to see Cain towering over me "what did you want" I snapped, his mouth turned up in a bitter smile "I need to talk to you about your friends" he laughed, he reminded me of the shadow in some ways, he pushed me back I dropped my bag scattering the book "what did you do that for!" he growled starting to get angry, he grabbed my by the collar of my shirt and pushed me back into a brick wall "you and your stupid friends will not take over my school! IT'S MINE!!" he yelled at me forcing me into the wall again, dust from the old wall scattered over us, I looked at Cain my eyes blazing "GET OFF ME!!" he growled pushing him back. Cain advanced on my again, this time a sharp point touched the skin across my stomach, Cain smiled again "I'm serious kyo, don't try anything" the metal tip brushed my stomach again and I nodded realising with he had, a knife, he stepped back and slipped around the corner as my knees buckled beneath me and I slipped to the floor my head in my hands. I heard someone call my name distantly but didn't look up, I could bring myself to, pounding footsteps grew closer and I felt someone hand touch my shoulder "kyo?" he voice asked but I shrugged it off looking up to see Amayas face worried "I'm fine" I muttered quietly but its obvious she didn't believe me, I pulled myself to my feet putting my books back into my bag and walked back with Amaya to the house, thinking about what had happened.

Chapter 1 - Lost in Translation
It was Wednesday and I was driving my father home from a doctor's appointment. The radio, playing one of the latest hits straight from some overly-hyped singer, was turned down low enough that I could still hear the hum of the engine and the slightly ragged breathing of the man sitting next to me. Smiling over at him, I set a hand on his leg, squeezing it reassuringly. "We'll be home soon." He gave me a simple nod in understanding.
One of the treatments he'd been given was a sort of breathing machine. The machine needed to be plugged in so that it could be used, and while he had been given the trea

Procella Ch. 2
Dameon awoke to a loud pounding on his apartment door. He was reminded of his childhood when his father would beat down his door to wake him for school as he sat up, black sheets revealing his bare torso. He realized he had fallen asleep again with a sweater around his waist, his shoes and pants still on after an infinite mind wander within the depths of his thoughts.
The pounding grew louder as he looked at his clock, 4:19 am. The unexpected guest was relentless as they knocked a third time while Dameon walked towards the door. He opened the door without hesitancy and looked vaguely around the hall to find no one in sight. He took a step ou

"Run Anook, Run!"
Those words startled me awake one July morning. The dew dappled on the grass glimmered in the early morning sunlight, and the fog was thicker than the creamy white foam on the crest of the turquoise waves. I galloped along the grass as my Dam told me. Something
something unknown to me was on Assateague. I had not seen it, but something told me it was nothing but danger.
My herd and I split up and fled in fright. I galloped alongside my Dam, questioning everything in between the frightened screams and shrieks of ponies.
"Momma, what's happening?!"
"It's Pony Penning Day, this happens around
